Actually its been many years, and keeps being promised in the "next release" - always sliding out to the right as more interesting problems come along. Guys- this is really important to Mac users. At least every few minutes they try to do something with their trackpad that should work, but doesn't and they end up hating the limitations of the current releases. Even if you only make this work mac to mac, please could you prioritise actually fixing this.

I am locking this thread. 103 replies makes the usefulness of this post for any newcomers quite questionable at best, or at the very least, a pain in the butt to dig through. Please start a new thread on the forums if you wish to have community support or follow the suggestions of our two fantastic support engineers, @Alexey Pilyaev @Daniel Alarcon and submit a ticket in the support system. Thank you, all, for understanding.

Hi, Correct. You need to ensure that your VPN client software can be configured to allow local LAN access so that it can reach to your laptop.

Hello, my setup is as follows: Server: macos mojave, synergy pro 1.10.1-stable-8941241e. Logitech "Mouse Performance MX" Configuration: section: screens mockduck: alt = meta meta = alt super = alt halfDuplexCapsLock = false halfDuplexNumLock = false halfDuplexScrollLock = false xtestIsXineramaUnaware = false switchCorners = none switchCornerSize = 0 end section: links loin: left(53,100) = mockduck mockduck: right(0,100) = loin(53,100) end section: options relativeMouseMoves = false screenSaverSync = true win32KeepForeground = false switchCorners = none switchCornerSize = 0 end Client: Windows 10, same synergy version My issue is that the scroll wheel on the mouse will not scroll the windows 10 start menu. The start menu scrolls as expected with the mouse connected directly to the windows machine. Additionally, there are buttons on my mouse (such as the zoom button, which in macos is bound to show mission control) which are captured by macos even if my cursor is on my windows screen. Is there a way around that? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Does Synergy 2 support the sort of config I have listed above? The reason I switched back to synergy 1 was that I had no way to specify screen edge to screen edge mapping between machines, and I want my pointer to visually appear visually at the same real world height as it crosses screen boundaries)

I GOT IT WORKING!! There appears to be an issue when "Enable Auto Config" is disabled. Here's what I did (macOS Mojave is Server): I followed the steps to reinstall from fresh Removed the app from System Preferences' "Security & Privacy > Accessibility" list Opened the app From System Preferences, I enabled Accessibility access, as requested Back in Synergy, enabled Auto Config (in Preferences, picture below) Allowed my client (Windows 10) to connect (had to accept fingerprint on Windows machine) Configured server with my Windows machine name Hope this helps!

This was exactly the fix! I had my name as "Gaming PC" and "Media PC". But after changing the name to a single word in both the setting tab, and in the config tab, it worked as intended. Thanks Ney (:
