The second monitor is connected via HDMI to the Mac Pro, and via Display Port to the Windows 10 PC. When I change the second monitor's input (via the monitor's built in input switching menu) to the DP so it displays the PC screen, and then try to move the mouse from the first monitor (still showing the Mac screen) over to the PC-connected one, the control does not pass to the PC. Mark Dyson 0 Posted December 21, 2015 Author Share Posted December 21, 2015 Okay, solved it myself. The issue is that the Mac still thinks it has the second monitor connected. I have to move the mouse cursor off the edge of the first monitor, then a distance equal to the width of the second one before it moves "off the edge" and Synergy then transfers control to the "third" monitor even though you can only see two.
