Shift Key hangs on Client

Hi, I am using the Synergy Host Program on Windows 7 and the client on Ubuntu Gnome 14.04.4 LTS. Version is 1.7.6 on both systems. If I am working on the client machine over Synergy and use the Shift key it often stays in the status pressed. Then when I try to scroll through my browser window it moves forward and backwards through the chronic instead of scrolling up and down in the window. That is very annoying if I had written something on a page and then all is gone because I "scrolled" to the page before. Is there already a fix for that?
