Issues upgrading to 1.7.6

I have now tried 3 times on 2 different computers to upgrade from 1.7.5 to 1.7.6. On both Win 10 computers I uninstalled the old version and then using the 1.7.6-stable download installed Synergy on both computers. When the installation completes and Synergy is run, it still is listed as version 1.7.5. Is there an issue with 1..7.6 installer?
