Synergy blocks windows login sometime

I use Synergy 1.8 with a host windows and a linux vm.

 

Sometimes, when my host is locked, i am not able to move the mouse anywhere. Keyboard is also locked at this point. It seems to be stuck in the vm.

The only thing i can do at this point is use teamviewer to connect to my vm and close or stop synergy there.

 

Only after doing the above, i am able to use mouse and keyboard for the host again and login into windows.
