Spotify skipping like a CD

I am new here after not using Synergy for sometime. I bought it years ago.

 

My problem is that when I load Synergy for on two computers with multiple monitors each, Spotify starts breaking up. Spotify works fine without Synergy loaded but sounds like it is skipping (sound like a CD skipping) when Synergy is connected to the other computer.

 

What could be the problem and what can I do to fix it?

Hi Bryan,

 

That one's new to me! I wonder if it happens when you run synergy via the command line.

 

If the problem goes away, then it looks like there's a problem with the GUI part of the program.

Ah, just a thought. How is your CPU usage when Spotify is skipping?

I did not get any increase in CPU usage. I removed Synergy on the server machine. After rebooting the problem went away. On thing I forgot to mention was that I am using Windows 7 64bit. When first loading Synergy I could not install the 64bit version but the 32bit version did install. Now when I try to reinstall on this machine neither will install. I get a error message that the file either does not exist or I can not access it.

 

Do you have any idea what is going on now?
