DavidWoods 1 Posted February 9, 2017 Author Share Posted February 9, 2017 I have a system with a Windows 10 server and an OS X 10.10 client. Since the last update, my OS X computer always starts up in Server mode rather than client mode. I didn't change anything, and it came up in client mode prior to the upgrade. Â I don't see anything in the Library/Preferences/synergy.plist file that seems like a likely candidate, and I can't find any other configuration file to edit. Â Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Sam Rimmer 0 Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 Hey David, Â Are you sure you've updated onto 1.8.7 and aren't still running 1.8.6? This was a known bug with the X.6 build. Another cause may be that you've not got permissions set up correctly to allow you to write to the configuration file, it would be worth double checking that too.
