multiple monitors and screen names

i have two computers and one has 3 possible screens.

the 3 screen pc is my client and the gui setup has given it one name.

the server is not allowing it to connect as it is saying that it sees 2 screens with nthe same name.

how do i edit the client configuration to give each screen a name so that i can make it work?

i save a copy of the current config but i am not sure what to chnage ....

 

please document the config file settings or show me where they are documented.
