However, I can infer from the post that there might be an issue with permissions somewhere, make sure you are running both the server and client with the most elevated credentials. Michal 0 Posted June 9, 2017 Share Posted June 9, 2017 Hi. I had exactly the same problem. After some digging I found, that I updated OpenSSL via Ubuntu update. So I removed Synergy, removed OpenSSL and reinstall OpenSSL and Synergy 1.8.8 from downloaded package and Synergy is running again:) Link to post Share on other sites
