File transfer not working

I have been pretty happy with Synergy so far, however the file transfer feature doesn't seem to be working for me. I have tried disabling the firewalls on both computers I have it running on, as well as setting the IP manually. Everything else works just fine as far as I can tell, just the file transfer doesn't work (sometimes it will transfer the files after a startup, however it only does it occasionally, and not all the files I have tried to transfer will have been transferred). The error code is "ERROR: failed to get desktop path, no drop target available, error=2" Both computers are running the windows 10 with the creators update.
