What happened to the Android version

There is a link in my Synergy account that says "Download for AndroidOS", but when I download the file, it won't open on my Samsung GS8+, it says "cant open file"

As of March 2015 the Android client is in early Alpha, but is largely functional. It requires a modded Android with access to /dev/uinput (such as Cyanogen or Paranoid Android).
