i have a windows 10 pc and a macbook. When i use my macbook as a server to share mouse and keyboard to the window 10 client, it works just fine. However, if i use my window 10 pc as the server and macbook as the client, it failed and shown 'Failed to connect to server: Timed out'

On your server machine, can you switch that into a client first then remove the IP address in the box. After that, switch it back as the server and restart the user interface by closing and reopening it.

Please post a screenshot of both machine's Synergy interface and the Server Configuration interface on your server machine.

Can you try pinging your server's IP from your client machine? Then ping the client's IP from the server machine. Post the screenshot of both ping results. Thanks :)

Please try to edit the screen name for your client machine. You can go to Edit and then Settings. Try removing the "-Pro.local" and make sure to edit the server configuration for the changes to reflect as well.

And even though i changed the name of the screen name, it still shows the old name in client machine , don't know whether it is relevant or not.
