Cannot connect (watchdog status: error)

Hello. I've used Synergy a bit with a Mac for a day. But now after I installed Ubuntu on that Mac I cannot start a Server on my windows machine? I have not done anything with my windows machine. What could have happend?

Please provide more details about your machines (OS, 32/64 bit, Synergy version installed, connected to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, specify which one is the server). Also, post a screenshot of both machine's Synergy interface and the Server Configuration interface on your server machine.

Hi,

I suddenly have the same problem. What are these errors ?

ERROR: ipc connection error, remote host closed
INFO: watchdog status: error

My Synergy server is on a Windows 10, I have installed synergy-v1.8.8-stable-25a8cb2-Windows-x64.msi

Clients are on Ubuntu 16.04, and commands are: 
synergyc 192.168.1.27
2017-06-06T20:25:39 INFO: Synergy 1.4.16 Client on Linux 4.9.24-v7+ #993 SMP Wed Apr 26 18:01:23 BST 2017 armv7l
        /build/synergy-NetVEJ/synergy-1.4.16/src/lib/synergy/CClientApp.cpp,157

Ok, I remove and reinstall the program, and remove a recent software I've installed (Glary Utilities) .

It works now.

Thanks for the update on this. Have you tried installing that Glary Utilities again to double check if that causes the problem?
