Mac OS Version? (10.10 crash)

The Synergy 2.0 download for Mac says "Universal" but it doesn't say what version of OSX is a prerequisite. Immediately on launch Synergy 2 crashes on me. I'm running OSX 10.10

Currently, Since both 1.9 and v2 are only available to 64bit machines, you can't install them at the same time on one machine. Other option is to install a 32bit version of v1.8.8 since 32bit software is compatible with 64 bit machines.

- Do you expect a fix for the 2.0 crash with OSX 10.10.5? (If you need any help debugging, I'm happy to...)
- I think v2 and v 1.9 are not compatible with each other. Am I correct?
- re: 64 bit vs. 32 bit... my 10.10.5 machine which crashes instantly on launching Synergy 2.0 is 64 bit with 16GB RAM. It is a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012). So I don't think the comments about 32 bit are relevant to me.

@Paul Suarez Actually I think he's asking if he can use Synergy 2 on one machine and Synergy 1 on the other.

@Roadworrier The answer is no, I'm afraid. Synergy 2 is incompatible with Synergy 1 (both machine have to be either Synergy 2 or Synergy 1).

Thanks for confirming @Roadworrier. Our developers will try to reproduce this on Monday for them to experience it first hand and hopefully they'll come up with a fix for it. Please sit tight while we(seriously) wait for it.;)

By the way, I added your crash logs as a gist to make the thread look more neat. Hope you'd do the same for future crash logs you'll share. But I also hope that'll be the last crash log you'd encounter with Synergy after our devs finds a fix for that issue. :D
