Mouse sticks to Show Desktop Button

I have been using Synergy for a while now but after installing on a newly purchased laptop to use as the server I am having lots of problems.

I have no issue with connecting to a client but when I first try to move my mouse to another screen the cursor disappears and then gets stuck on the Show Desktop Button. Then I can't even move my cursor back to the server. I have restarted every service, rebooted, reinstalled, checked the firewall, and nothing has worked. 

My configuration is as follows:

 

Lenovo Flex 5 (Server)

Windows Desktop PC of my own creation (Client)

 

Both run Windows 10 and the latest version of Synergy.

 

And yes I have already forced elevation on both systems.

Hi @tjb3141. Please provide more details about your machines (OS, 32/64 bit, Synergy version installed, connected to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, specify which one is the server). Also, post a screenshot of both machine's Synergy interface and the Server Configuration interface on your server machine.
