Is there a way to have scroll lock enabled and still transition screens?

My keyboard uses the scroll lock key to turn on the lights, and I can't see the keys without them. Is there no way to disable that so I can keep my keyboard lights on and still move my mouse to my other screen?

I just discovered the scroll lock issue today. It took a while to find out why it appeared that Synergy had stopped working.

I do not know a solution to this. I would like to see Synergy make the scroll lock feature an easy-to-find option in the setup or configuration of the program.
