Synergy Team Nick Bolton 407 Posted August 6, 2017 Synergy Team Share Posted August 6, 2017 Hi everyone, The service feature is what allows Synergy to run in the background when you close the config window. It also runs Synergy at startup in the background and handles elevation (and UAC) in Windows. We're implementing the service feature on Mac and Linux too (previously it was only available for Windows). We originally estimated this feature for beta3 (now available) but decided to push the service feature back to beta4. This is so we could make it more stable before releasing it for beta testing. The beta4 release is scheduled for August 30th. @Jerry Hou and @Andrew Nelless are working on this. So if you have any questions, they'll be able to answer them directly. Thanks, Nick

Absolutely. And it'll install them too, on all of your computers (you'll be able to turn this off). Expect this around beta6 or beta7.
