RichS 0
I'm unable to get two clients to connect to my Synergy server machine; only my Synergy server machine shows up green. My Synergy server machine is a Windows 10 Enterprise machine with dual monitors. The two clients are a Windows 7 Enterprise machine and a MacBook Pro with macOS Sierra. The machine names of all of the machines start with a number (if that matters), due to that being the naming convention my work uses. The Windows machines are on the same subnet and the MacBook Pro is on Wi-Fi. The firewall is disabled on both of my Windows machines. Below is the link to the log. https://synergy-logs.symless.com/2017-09-20/1133-2017-09-20T10-36-46.log Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
RichS 0
@Nick Bolton: Any idea why I can't get the clients to connect?
Synergy Team Nick Bolton 407 Posted September 22, 2017 Synergy Team Share Posted September 22, 2017 @RichS Try this: https://symless.com/synergy-2-beta4-troubleshooting
RichS 0
@Nick Bolton: I tried the troubleshooting guide, when I wasn't able to connect. I stopped the firewall services on both the Synergy server machine and the Windows client machine, but the client still shows up grey.
ryanhaver 3
Perhaps try this. It worked for me. You may need to adjust the steps based on the platforms you are using Synergy with. The main idea is that any legacy installs and/or their remnants may be causing issues with connectivity. https://symless.com/forums/topic/4026-getting-mouse-and-keyboard-to-work/?do=findComment&comment=16674
