Not quite working on Linux Mint

Recommended Posts

Followed the instructions in the Beta Troubleshooting Guide, etc.. synergyd starts in a terminal window. After opening the Synergy app, I get a pretty blue window with the Synergy logo. The rest of the window's blank save for a version identifier (Synergy 2.0.0-beta4) and a do-not-redistribute message. When the window opens, the log indicates:

F12 doesn't do anything, nor does ~.  If I mouse to the very center of the window (remember, the window's blank),  the cursor changes to a finger, and clicking opens the symless.com login screen.

Ideas? This is:

Currently, as even @Nick Bolton has stated in another thread, the beta 4 when it comes to linux is a mess. It is looking to be remedied in beta 5, due out in about 4-5 weeks time. There were a few oversights that are now causing issues for many linux users overall.Your patience is appreciated while they get this next beta release working appropriately for all.
