Slow Mouse

Just installed Synergy 1.8.8, having pretty slow (unusable) mouse movement and jumpy movement on the client side - how to fix?

Same problem. Just installed on a Windows 10 desktop (server) and an HP laptop (client) running on the same network (connected over a 192.168.* number). I've tried turning off SSL as well, but the mouse is still unusable.

I figured out my problem. Microsoft OneDrive was doing a large sync in the background, which was apparently causing the unusable mouse movement. Once I paused syncing, I was able to use the mouse and keyboard normally. Others having this problem may want to check network usage while they're seeing these problems to see if there is something sucking up the computer's available networking bandwidth.
