Drops while using WebEx Training Center

I teach classes online using WebEx Training Center. Typically I have the program running on both my PC and laptop.

Synergy is very wonky when I have these programs running. Very often my mouse stalls for up to 20-30 seconds while moving from machine to machine.

This is probably resource related...but I really would like to know how to fix it because I did not have this issue when using Mouse Without Borders.
