kneedeep 0 Posted January 15, 2018 Share Posted January 15, 2018 It ran - although I had not been able to connect the client to the server - the messaage happened right after I change the server's hostname by editing /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts then ran "hostname <name_of_host> I've enabled logging and it's supposed to be saved to /var/log/synergy but there is no file there after the failure. I'm running 1.6 (32 bit) on both machines. I've re-installed, fixed broken packages ran the install again, didn't help. I've purchased v. 2 but waiting on the promised 32 bit version before installing the 64 bit server version. Link to post Share on other sites
