MrE3gman 1
I have a prety bad pc as a client, and using SSL encryption pushes the cpu to over the edge, making everithing laggy, is there a way to disable encription (with synergy 1.8 everything was fine)
jml 50
Â That'd be a good feature request for 2.1. Not everyone needs -- or wants -- encryption.
JDDoesIT 29
+1 As someone that uses both good and crappy systems this would be awesome.
ayydrewski 0
In some aspects, they really went backwards in version 2.0. More configuration options were in Synergy 1 and they removed them completely from the new interface.
jml 50
That's a matter of opinion. I happen to agree, but there is also certainly a case to be made that "less knobs = less problems" for some users too.
Guest Andrew Nelless
I'm not convinced TLS adds significant CPU overhead or lag these days, even on something "crappy". We're talking about a few hundred bytes of data per second. Do you find v2 more laggy than v1 with SSL enabled?
MrE3gman 1
i havent enabled ssl on v1 because i had the basic version, but on v1 it worked flawlessly and on v2 I can't even use it because of the lag
