losing connection on one side or both

was reading this thread 

 which was unfairly closed with no solution and I cant find any other topic about this.. bought synergy (finally) 2 days ago and get nothing more than headache.. made even fresh install my 2 laptops with LINUX MINT 18.3 sylvia just to find out that the issue still happens.. I would have liked to know about this bug before the purchase, not asking for a refund because I achieve nothing with the little money invested , but asking for a solution to this..

 

Symptoms are , I launch the app in both laptops (both running mint 18.3 xfce) and start working, usually my main laptop on the right side and the other in the left, suddenly and out of nowhere the cursor on the left side computer goes to the middle of the screen and in that moment i know it disconnected, to reconnect i have to move the cursor from the left side to the right and then it start working again.. it  happens so often that it is really annoying, I  dont use mouse, I use the trackpad of the laptops.. im not sue which one is the side getting disconnect or why is this annoying behavior happening.. any ideas?

Well... I don't think you have the same issue as the one that was "unfairly closed"; it sounds like your problem has more to do with the system losing track of where the trackpad is. Are there any indications in the system logs of interrupt loss or HID (mouse/trackpad) errors around the time of the occurrence? Check /var/log/syslog and dmesg...

the thing is that if you promote and sell a software we the costumers expect to have something functional out of the box... not start with this struggle  hopping to some how for the mercy of somebody make the product work decently..

 

I know it is not my hardware as I have 2x 2k usd computers with last generation everything specially made for LINUX from the system 76 boutique .. intel 8th gen 8550U 16gb ddr4 and 500gb m.2 samsung evo ssd.. and also did fresh installs on the noperative system ..so im more than  sure that is not me

Trying to determine if any of the log entries match up to the time of the event; for example, does the wireless complaint occur at the same time?

well im trying to submit a ticket but it asks for log URL.. where am I supposed to upload these files?

now i see what the problem  is.. the program keeps switching the share from my main to my secondary ... now why is this happening?
