Synergy Client - Monitor will not sleep.

I have been using synergy for about a year now and have noticed that as long as the service is running on any client it keeps the screen from sleeping. While this isn't a big deal normally. because of this and the red logo i was working on i have a nice red burn in on my client pcs' monitor. Its slowly fading with the white screen treatment, but I'm wondering if there is a way to allow my monitor to sleep with the service running without doing power overrides. my client machine is gigabyte g31m-es2L Windows 7 x64 sp1 intel e6300 4 gigs of ram 128gig ssd intel g33 onboard graphics Thanks
