cursos tend to move on a straight line

Hello,

my current setup:

- Mac high Sierra as server

- ubuntu as client 18.04.2 LTS

when i move my mouse over to the ubuntu client on a diagonal, it tends to want to move on a straight line, its is more noticeable if i move it slowly on a diagonal. it will just want to move either up/down or right/left instead of a diagonal.

When i move my cursor back to mac it works as usual.

However this wont happen to my if i switch into a windows as server, with windows and ubuntu i dont have such problem

 

Any help please would be great.
