Hi,

Can we script Synergy?

Like from bash I would drag the mouse to x,y on the screen of the other PC and type something?

Thank you

Hey there! Linux and Bash, as you know, are very, very easily extensible. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some library or utility that would allow you to move the mouse cursor to the right by a certain number of pixels and type something. From the perspective of Bash, it wouldn't detect that it'd be intercepted by Synergy, so the script should work. Perhaps experiment with that if you can? I'm not a Linux guru, so I'm not familiar with any such utilities, but I would be surprised if some didn't exist or couldn't be created with enough bash knowhow. Good luck!
